Could i create an NPC to index a list of items and add +, -, hp, sockets and gems with the players need then calculating a price for the item in CPs, silver and/or PkPoints(on a pvp server) then allowing the player to purchase the item they wanted.

Help or guidance is what i need - Thanks in Advance!

it is i think umm add the data into shop.dat and den add the npc into database den copy your shop.dat in debug or realease were ever u put into the co folder xD

It only loads ItemID :p

By the way you where speaking in other threads, i thought you had an idea what you where talking about and now you cant make a simple NPC to give sockets? Of course its possible >.<

alright, and i "could" be wrong here, but from what you posted you seem to have misunderstood the topic. You're thinking, again by your post, that hes simply trying to get a socket item from a npc, where as, I "THINK" hes trying to make a "SHOP" npc "SELL" socket items... i could be wrong since i have no idea about NPC flags (he stated flag-1 or something) but thats what he sounds like to me...

He means shops, not dialog NPCs(What zane said :p)

@Zane203 - Thanks for relaying what i said and your right i want an NPC to sell not give items.

@scottdavey - please read twice before you post i did say 1 flag NPC like blacksmith.

I know you can make an NPC give you Super socket blesses enchanted gear - i would like to make a shop NPC that can do it.

If what i would like is impossible then ill have alternate methods of getting what i need.

That only contains Item id.
Therefore you couldn't get sockets.

ok ive tried to add -255 etc on the end of the item it ignores it as Tao said it will only accept item IDs which contains quality of item and thats it

oh, well then i think we cant help you, unless you make that it sells Scoekcet making things and SuperGems to Socket it and for HP, -dmg idk how, and it has to sell +1 until +12 stones

for the rest idk

Or if you can't add weapons with socket, just make a bag that if you use it you'll get the weapons with +, enchanted hp, sockets that you want ...

Good idea but i planned for it to be a PVP server where you buy super 2 socket weapons using pkpoints (making it as a currency instead of as a bad thing) - could maybe buy item packs instead of items

Or you could make a seperate shop and uhm, sell "super" items there and when you buy from there it'll automatically add thet stats you want it to.
