MMOFPS Games seem to become really popular at least on the asian market.
Last year Battlefield free2play was released and soon there will be Call of Duty Online, it seems to be a new trend to make a remodeled game out of the most popular shooters.
Activision teamed up with the chinese Internet service provider Tencent and announcened Call of Duty: Online which will be a new free2play first person shooter (MMOFPS). The game will provide a cash-shop system like almost any MMO already does.
The game has been in development by Activision for around 2 years and Tencent has the exclusive license to publish the game in China.
You will be able to personalize and costumize almost everything in-game such as your weapon, characters or equipment to make yourself unique.
There are various game modes, maps and other features. The game even provides a story line which is based on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare universe.
It's not sure yet if the game will hit the European or American market.
