[direct3d] ERROR NEEDS FIXING NOW!

Fixed the error now, thanks for all the replies.

You have to change the registry!
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DirectDraw

The REG_DWORD entry "EmulationOnly" has to be set to 0.

and also the entry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Direct3D\Dri vers
"SoftwareOnly" (also REG_DWORD) has to be 0 too!.

That makes no sense to me what so ever..

I have read both of those, yet they don't help me with the problem when loading.

Make a graphics card driver update. Maybe it helps.
