Ahoy Ahoy! as you all can tell from the title, i'm wondering if snow shield is good for bladers "which u r aware that they are str-based characters" or not?. My plan is this, to go for a blader for 90 weapon skills, 90 cold, light 30, fire 90. . .The whole issue about the cold is actually to get the snow shield. I thought, it might work, and it'll be effective, but i realised that as soon as i use it, i discover that my mp goes zero, "although i wont lose against my opponent". So, i need some advises about staying in this build or to change into another. If yes, tell me a good build for a blader, please, and why. . .

cold is better, but light is more necessary, a blader doesnt have a far range attack only 2 skills, so you need to walk to the monster, when youve got only 40% more moving you ll level slower then when you have 80% more moving, and buying drugs from the jewelry shop cost a lot when you want to bot 24/7.. so i think its better/cheaper to go for light,

i think you've touched the heart of the issue i guess. . .but what if this blader is for pvp purposes only, would cold be better for him, if not, what about 60 cold, 60 light? sorry for spamming a lot >.>Quote:

the sole reason for me making this build is that ive seen a 2haded 90 +7 fighting a blader 90+5. . .neither any one of them has finished the other--the 2handed was using his cleric-healing skills, and the blader with his snow shield. They fought for like 10 minutes, and decided to stop the fight declaring that it was a "potion fight", and then bowed to each other. . .
it's just something that you can't see everyday, eh!

omg. You have shield so you dont need passive cold or buff. You wont use high lvl snow shield so why you need high lvl ice?? Get Lighting and thats all! Of course i dont say that extra phy defence is bad.

i have 1 question for ya. how much MP do you have. you know that snow shield takes X% from MP, but because you have low MP it take all your MP and the rest from hp, so what's the deal to use snow shield? the only purpose for it was if you were hybrid char.

Many Bladers use snow shield, but I don't see it much higher than the first book lv2. And those get hated on for being noobs.

the real purpose for being a blader with snow shield high level would be if you would hybrid 50/50 only for pvp.

Yeah but in my opinion hibrid sucks a lot!! 60light and 60 cold it's a balanced build but you can go 90light and 30cold if you have more sp. It's better this way.

yeah i guess you guys are totally right. . . .i think the 25% mp absorption is completely enough to suck the damage, and that means only 30 from cold. . . .
Anyway, as im thinking of a good PVP pure str blader character, what could i possibly do. I thought about this one:
weapon blader tree 90
Fire 90
Fore 90 to have the stuns as the warlock pre the fight, and also its passive.
cold 30 for snow shield 25% mp absor.
and about the speed and light, well, i could buy from npc when i want to ^.^
what do you guys think about this one? plz plz plz tell me
