There are two possibilieties,you are getting the packet from server(server side) or it is checking for those specified characters(Client side).

This is the one I use. If this could be made functional, then I suppose it is also possible to make a huge sum of money with this, selling the ingame gold to chinese websites. I found that 1 address of the error is in the memory in the form of ascii before logging in, but when you login you get a few more. Maybe it is clientside, take a look :D Note that I have already edited the exe so you can create the character with any name excluding the ones with [] brackets so that if you do find something, please pm me with your findings as it would suck to have every newbie coming here and making themselves a gm, therefore making acclaim patch it again.
EDIT: Ah shit, I found that every single ascii string I searched for shows the same return/write commands as the ones I posted in the first post. That sucks ass, but maybe you can still do something :P? The character creation part in the executable should be somewhere in the 0050D or 0050E range in the executable file.

This will not work.. Already bypassed [] and other chars and some gm commands will not work. There's 1 way to use again gm commands: --Putting the new crc (4.6.4) to 4.5.6 client--. Have fun!

Its really simple, when you run into the error of it saying [ cannot be used jump the code a few lines(to where code begins next task).

But its patched (with checks elsewhere etc), so can you and other stop making threads about GM hack, jesus.

Ok honestly, there must still be a way to access the GM commands and what not or you wouldn't be so hastey too close the thread. :bandit:

this should be closed to avoid 1-post leechers and real-life-noobs of abusing this thing and just ruin the fun of the game.
it'S patched. doesn't work cuz some stuff is server sided now..
