good question .. but i think this is a client error on official servers is the self problem . but you can change this too 100 items when you change the storage line in your gameserver opt from 1000 to 500 but i dont test this i have read this in a other post

Change this :
T game.max_storage_item_count:1000
To:
T game.max_storage_item_count:500

This is a Packet-Issue with 7.4, it isn't fixable with 7.3 Herlock's.

It's the same reason, since 7.4 contains different Packet-Structures for some things it isn't working. :)
