Configs

What should my configurations be?

I'm a level 13 venom goli and can have any item imagined from botting

In my 1st config I have 4 speed gens and rest are shields and in drones I alternate the lasers and shield gens

2nd config has all speed gens on ship and I alternate between sheild gens and lasers on drones...

Can someone please tell me some better con figs for my goli?

In my opinion, just go around and test configs until you find one you like. Lots of people have different preferences.
Though I'm sure some of the people here will tell you some decent configs.

Though, I think just go test around until you have one which you like. And made yourself.

Eh thanks but since I haven't gone hunting yet so I still feel ify which makes me nervous.

Yeah, I guess. I understand how you feel.

This may help, though I don't know now. But this is what I used to have (if I can remember properly)
Config 1
Full lasers on drones
10-12 Engines, rest shields

Config 2
Full speed
4 Shields on drone
Rest laser

Yeah it might not be amazing, but it worked for me.

depends what you are doing really
for boxing use full speed on ship and all shield on drones(same if kill npc in x-2) both config.
for kill npc in any other map or GG (alphs,beta,gamma) 9 speed on ship rest shield and full laser on drones, 2nd config full speed on ship and full shield on drones.
you say u dont hunt yet so i wont go into that.

The best confi for hunting is but you need 10 drones so you must have full speed and 6 shields in drone and the rest lasers but do this only if you have all drone on 16 because without you dont habe enough shield

For me:
1st config
ALL SPEED GEN
5+ shields on vants rest lasers
2nd config
SAME
I use it for run for the enemys because IS SO MUCH ENEMY ROUND THERE LOL

no config is best ..it just depends on what the other person will have..
sometimes i go with less shields and more lasers and noobs run from me and get popped..
but there is always someone who has more shields and gets me..

more important is timing..when you use ability, emp,bombs,tech etc

When I play there usually aren't that many manual players, so I just run a full speed and laser config for the pounding when the players run so I get full chance of kill. I run the second config all speed and shield so I can get away if need be.

Config 1
All engines on ship and all lasers on ship and drones, this is an attack config for strong players.
Config 2
All engines on ship, shields and a few lasers on the drones.

It all depends as others have said what ya doing. Configs i use are (p.s this is based on 9 drones)

Hunting 1:
config 1: All engines on ship all lasers on drones.
config 2 All engines on ship 4 lasers on drones rest shields.

Hunting 2:
config 1: same as hunting config 1
config 2 shields on ship shields on drones

Npc:
config 1: all shields on ship lasers on drones
config 2: all engines on ship shields on drones

If I hunt in low maps I don't really need shield because all the enemys are weak.
So I put 2 full speed one flee config(full shield on drones)
And one with 1 shield in my drone, like this you hit much and you can still use sab.
Put you have to know the game and use pld ish emp and then slow rocket etc

PVP config
- 1 slow, 500-600k schild, rest lasers
- 1 fast, 500-600k schild, rest lasers

but they have the same amount of schild
it works good in bigger battles (for me) :)

But the best config is the config you make your own. I mean you can use those but just think for you, do you like speed? Do you like hit power? Why not both? Or just take much shield and much speed and low hit power, or just low speed much hit power and shield. It's what you like. 'Make your config your own' [ that's what i did ] and i'm able to kill generals and 1-2-3 stars.
