Riding skill, steed info

In the newer patches, if you have a steed equipped and you hover over the riding skill it'll show you information on your steed and vigor and such.

Now I'm sure it just takes the + of your steed to give that info.
I was told it's not a new packet, but when I hover over it in my source, the client crashes.
Can anyone give any info on this?

The order I send packets when equipping is:

1008 (the item)
1009 (type 5 - sets position)
1009 (type 46 - sends equipment)

I would assume that it only checks the information of the steed you have equipped already. It could be that some of the information you're sending is invalid or doesn't exist in their dbc files.

I wold check the client ini folder for any screwed up/edited/missing ini's... i cant think of anything else that can crash the client that way.

@Zeroxelli

dbc files only takes care mesh's/motions/effect's/etc and its not related to the skill information/mouse hovering reactions. nor it contains any lines/values that can crash your client anything missing/corrupted will be reported in the debug folder.

Ah alright, I was under the impression that TQ had moved all the INIs to DBC files. I'll have to poke around a newer client.

I don't think its client side, since it happens on my buddies conquer as well.

In that case, double/triple check the data going out in your packet.

From my logs it doesn't seem like it.

This is such an annoying thing lol

Hmm.. what source? Maybe I can help debug it.

My own source unfortunately.
Its odd because I've logged exactly what real Conquer does, and I'm mirroring that.
I had impulse look at it and he had no idea either.

Strange.. made any edits to the client in any way? Also, try each steed lineage level, from 0 to 12, as well as each steed color.

Unedited. Unless the loader is interfering? Which I highly doubt.

No difference.

Strange... Have you checked the clients debug logs?
