[Cabal EU Mars] sudden global DC?

Anyone has noticed that sometimes there is a sudden global DC on EU Mars server?

In particular channel 1 today around 20:30 today i DC'ed and when i relogged i saw that channel 1 was half empty and when i logged in to channel 1 i saw that nobody who was on dummy was still there, and a lot of shops disappeared...

Maybe all hackers got DC? :p

in addition:

Ok i just had DC again (22:57) and so did my friend... Again i noticed the ppl on dummies where gone when i logged in again!
We both hack and both got DC so maybe this is a test method by GM's?
Maybe they run a script to check on hacks or something and all those ppl get a DC, then they create a list to find hackers?

Just an idea! If anyone here has more information please share!

It couldn't be what you say because everything they want to try,they're using their test server,not their live server...

first counter argument:
If they want to test this method to find a sh*tload of hackers and putting them in a list, I don't think they will test this on a test server.. But maybe you're right :)

second counter argument:
Who says they didn't allready test it and are now using it on our servers? :p

I noticed the DC, but then again I think it's just a crappy connection rather than it being some detection method, even though I could be wrong.

Here is some information I have according to the DC's:
-yesterday both my normal and bypassed client (just had it open, not using hacks etc..) got DC'd
-today the first DC only the bypassed client had DC, normal client had no DC
-today, last DC, got it twice in a row on bypassed client on PC, not on bypassed client on laptop (which is strange, since LAN should be more stable than WLAN)

Any others had DC on the normal client?

NOTE: I seem to get a DC every time i start the bypassed client by punk, but only the first time i log in, after that it is fine (CH1 EU Mars)

-> Maybe something to do with this bypassed client (the one by punk without the mcl check)? Some signal that causes it to DC and not the other 'normal' bypassed client and the original unbypassed client?

got DC on a regular cabal.. i was on dummys, and when i got back it was DC.. i guess its the crappy servers that they have.. long live silicon valley xD it happens to me all the time..

I had it on my original as well, the unbypassed client. Gonna put 3 clients online tomorrow, 1 original, 1 with fixedmain, 1 with fixedmain2, to see if they all get DC or just the fixedmain2.

yes i got few DC's too(ch1 merc) i just got bm3 and then i relogged and boom!! banned!!!! i write ticket now

So, I did the test, 3 clients, with just chars attacking dummies.
fixedmain // channel 1 // PC (LAN) // DC
fixedmain2 // channel 1 // PC (LAN) // DC
cabalmain // channel 8 // Laptop (WLAN) // no DC

Now, as you can see, it could be either related to 1 of those 3 points that are similar in both fixedmain clients: the bypassed client is the problem, channel 1 is the problem or my LAN is the problem.

I could do another test with cabalmain on channel 1 as well, to rule that one out, and put my laptop on LAN as well, to rule that one out. But that'll be for another day I gues;P

Chicks and dudes relax its not gm testing anything i have friends whos didnt use hacks bypass or etc etc but also get dc so its they crappy servers. :)

Doesn't mean that they're not looking for hacks in other ways in general though :P
