RAR Files

Can someone point me in the right direction for a GOOD RAR file opener that is free and not a trial version?

Just use WinRAR. It's a good way to open them... as it's made to. Even though it says you're 30 day evaluation is over it will still let you use it, so don't worry about having to pay for anything or losing functionality in the program : )
