restart + openstealth

I was using openstealth, but before restart (1 minute) i closed it and removed proxy settings, but my friend didnt do it, he had openstealth opened during restart. Honor and Experiences were deducted, but mine wasnt. So does it means if i shut down it, they wont know about it?

Darkorbit is not a download game so they wouldn't know a single thing your computer is running.
Its all just prediction. But since your friend had open stealth on Darkorbit could tell his account was still online even though there was a restart. Thus they only know you have it if its turned on and the server is shutting down or restarting.
