changing item appearance

I want to change the way some items look when they fall on the ground...
Reason: Most bots pick up only mets and dbs,
If you change how gems and tokens look to resemble a met or a db your bot should auto pick them up, anyone have any ideas of how I can do this?

Change all of the items that you want your bot to pickup to the same MapItemIcon that a Met or DB has.. idk what it is just look through them to find them, but that's how you'd do it.

That is what I would like to do, but the trick is figuring out how ;)
