E3 approaches!

The biggest gaming industry expo is coming, that's right, E3 is just around the corner! For those of you who don't know what E3 is, it is an invitation-only expo designed to let game developers show off their coming wares to the world. It has become known as the place to announce your new hardware or software, and is greatly anticipated year after year.

So, what can we expect this year? Well, Nintendo are set to unveil the "final form" of the Wii U, our introduction to the next generation of home game consoles. On top of this, Ubisoft will be giving more detail on the upcoming Assassin's Creed 3, we'll get a look at the first Skyrim DLC, "DawnGuard" as well as much, much more.

Be sure to keep an eye out here on e*PvP over the next two weeks, as we will be among the first with the news after it breaks in LA.

AFAIK is the gamescom more bigger then e3, isn't it?

I can't be certain about that, but I know for sure E3 is the one with the hype and the big announcements.

I don't have the facts here but I can imagine the gamescom as a mostly public event has more visitors. The expo itself is quite large too (even larger this year when it comes to space, in fact the gamescom only uses parts of a pretty huge building). Anyway E3 still has more significance when it comes to attention of developers and publishers. Most major announcements come from there.

Not to mention Webzen will go live with the intro to C9

The first official western C9 tournament will be ending there too, along with some other big online showcases like Counter Strike: Global Offensive. It should be a great couple days, I can't wait!
