2Moons Game crashing after ATI HD 4850 update

So as the topic states. I updated my ATI HD 4850 to the latest drivers and all of a sudden the game started crashing. What's odd though is that when the crashreporter.exe starts it's all in jibberish. (I'm sure it's another language that I don't have the supported language pack for)

Regardless, this card should more than rock this game. Anyone else having any issues on ATI 4800 series cards after version 8.11 / 11/12/2008 driver upgrade?

Thanks in advance.

-you can always go ask 2moons support tho...
but try this:

-disable AA on you V.card control panel! <-idk if that really make any diffrence
-if your vista im not sure but some people having this problem using ATI after 5mins playing CRASH! -switch to XP! ^^
-maybe its time for upgrade!!!!

I'm completely upgraded! I dual boot Vista Ultimate 32b and XP Pro SP3. I run 4gb Gskill Ram clocked to 880 stable. DFI Lanparty Infinity mobo, AMD FX2 +5200 proc and main drive for games is a 74gb Raptor@10kRPM.

DIsabling AA wouldn't effect the crash only the play. I leave it on Application Controlled unless I play Counter Strike.

Any other ideas?

I've even launched the game from Vista in XP SP2 Compatibility Mode and it still crashes. I'm wondering if it could actually have anything to do with my ping to the soulbane server. I get from 96ms at times to 400ms. It does seem as many mobs were on the screen it would crash but in another instance I was just walking through a field. Hmm.

I get korean errors with ATI HD4850 too. No idea what the problem is. Although I totally overdo everything, like spawnhack 300+ laiden egos @ crespo a and such.

Yeah I'm not running any hacks. Just straight up game. Running it in XP compatibility mode helped a little and I was able to play for an hour straight with no crash. But I'm assuming it isn't the fix and only a band-aid. I'm beginning to wonder if it's due to running in 32bit mode resolution. I will try 16bit and see what happens.

Again as -=EPvP^RULEZ=- said. Contact 2moons support asking what is up with 2moons and your video card.

I reverted back to the older drivers from ATI 8.541.0.0 9/23/2008 and all seems to be fine. Something with the update obviously was making the game crash. Thanks for the tips/advice but I'm content with this fix. Thread finished.
