VAC'ing weapon's min and max damage

Ok so, im not that new here, but i almost never post (since i almost never use hacks/bots/etc, or if i do, i do for a short period of time).

So, i did read some posts about VAC'ing mobs, changing cellrange, attack type, maximum number of follow and etc.
and i know too that you NEVER may change the original file size, even a single byte.

and nowww...i found in THIS offset

like damage, drop rate, minimum stats required, and etc...

so i went to THIS offset
288612160 <---JOSMA +4 (Summoner's TB lvl 85)

how im using one, i modified some values

the first red one is the minimum dmg
the other, maximum dmg

i modified to 787-917 and logged in
well...everything ok, the damage in screen was 787-917
my attack was over 2.5k (already using the new values plus my str)

but when i attacked a mob...the damage was the same as if my weapon was not been modified, as if i was using the original one +4

so i ask.
Did i do anything wrong?

BTW = there are a lot of things to explore in that pack.d04...and i already have one backed up in the case i want to play it original ;)

about VAC: i was looking for the values over there...but the min and max dmg has nothing to do with VAC...

-yes i did that to .... try to find the ranges if you can !! ^^ but skill hack will pretty much kill mobs pretty easy... so u dont need to modify weapon values ... so in short yeah it dont work, sorry..

i know..i guess everybody that start using the WinHex try to do that...i was beting it wouldnt work but i tried...
but yes, im gonna try messing in ranges/speed and casting delay...maybe it works..
