[Exploit] Sorc Glyph - Powerlinked Lightning Trap

Hi everyone,

the glyph "Powerlinked Lightning Trap" is actually on the first glimpse a pretty mediocre sorc glyph

Glyph description:

"Increased the Power of the next chainskill by 20%: Fireblast"

Why is it just mediorce ? Lightning Trap got 30 Seconds CD and is actually pretty useless in PvE , in PvP situations , most ppl wont even get tricked by it.

What so ever , the 20% dmg boost for fireblast procs asoon as you start casting the Lightning Trap , you can basicly just interrupt the casting animation with a move to the side in less than a half second and have the 20% Dmg buff for every fireblast you do , the difference in DPS is really huge considering its one of your main nukes.

The 20% dmg buff is not supposed to be up if you cancel the casting or dont finish the spell ... it works like this atleast with other classes , iam 100% sure that this is not working as intented also i cant see anyone talkin about it on the international forums / Sorc DPS rotation threads.

So i guess its a bug that we can abuse to our advantage -> exploit , or am i wrong ?

From that standpoint yes you are right

Actually, as long as the chain skill icon comes up, its activated, regardless of casted or not. That's how its been.
