question about darius

i bought him yesterday and was wondering how should i build him? if i build him all ad, then he's too squishy. if i build him tanky, then he gets cc'd and f'd in less than 5 secs. his main weakness is cc, and i'm okay with that. so wht should i build and play him as?

as full ad..... off tank too less dmg

I haven't played him yet,
but my friend told me that he goes Doran Blade, Boots, Trinity Force, Bloodthirster, Mallet, Atmas and he get really good scores.
