i have a problem with winhex

i try looking some offset and its say me this ..

" The file does not contain offset 283771456 "

what is this and what i need do .. ?

Check you've used a registration on the winhex (search forum. or look for instantdeath's winhex TUT)
If you dont "register" it, it only opens the first 200kb of the file.
Haven't checked so dont quote me on this but by the look of it that offset is wrong anyway
