(Free)met trick

Just a little suggestion if any of you have bought a TQ points card and claimed a Thanksgiving bag:

Now you may have noticed that it comes with four (Free)mets. These mets cannot be traded or vended. So what can I do with these mets...

I just figured out that if you take the four (Free)mets and take six normal mets (that can be traded) and put them into a scroll and right click the scroll, the mets turn back to normal.

Just thought i would share this to those people who don't know what to do with those mets.

haha nice.. but can you use, or is it just client sided?

you can do it, i did it a few times when you make the met scroll it doesnt say anything next to it

probably a bad idea, as there might be a slight chance those are unique mets
that have higher chance of success rate or better luck

I also have a theory that I'm testing using the (Free) items you get from the newbie quests. I put my alt as red-named (with the free items on), then i killed it with my main and detained the items. My theory is that after the seven days are up i can get the boots and they will "magically" turn into regular elite items.
I tried to redeem the elite boots and they are still (Free), but we will see after the seven days is up what happens.

Nope dont work, if u read on the items with ur main, you will see: Free item, will be confiskaited if not claimed.
