[Discussion] Silkroad web-CMS

As you might have noticed already, there are some website engines out there, but they are pretty... let's say, primitive. Here is the idea: Writing a complete silkroad CMS, with templates, languages system, built-in forum and more.

Some basic info:

- Name: srWeb (not sure yet)
- PHP/HTML/CSS/JS

Features to implement:
Overall:
- News [with comments]
- Downloads
- Registration
- Server info [like online players amount, rates, server module statuses]
- Rankings
- Events list [what about "apply for event" ?]
- Screenshots/Videos [with upload feature?]
- Chat box
- Built-in forum
- Password recovery [using email sending?]
- Refferal system [like "invite your friend, and get 5 silks"]
- Languages system
- Templates system

User control panel:
- Change password [mby change email too?]
- Buy gold for silks, items for silks, etc ?
- Reset panalities like PK points, guild leave panality timers for silks or gold
- Reset stat points (int/str) for silks or gold
... ?

Admin control panel:
- Adding/editing news, downloads, etc
- Edit char stats [str, int, etc]
- Ban/unban account
- Features from UCP (like removing panalities etc)
- Enabling/disabling any website module
... ?


What do i need at the moment ? Some designer, who could make a some nice design (+html), and, even better, if he/she'd know JavaScript/CSS, because i'm such a FAIL designer. I'm gonna do the whole PHP/MSSQL part.

I'd like to hear everything you would like to see implemented, like "News comments". Please, keep this thread clean of flamewars and such annoying sh!t. After i get enough ideas, and find a person i'm looking for, i'll start writing t3h q0d3.

The things you wrote there is pretty much
With language system for example contain (Arabic,Turkish,English,deutche,dutch) Languages
But you still need guys who translate to you every time

Keep vB in mind.. this will cost alot of time and paying for it as a service wouldnt be bad!

Player data base (like rev6 or something), a little window that redirects you to the all current/old polls that have been done, a library with things like genesis,map,skills,creatures and quests (to help new members), Silk item mall (like isro).
