How configure vmware to take less procesor ?

Hello
Can some1 help me configure my vmware? to waste less procesor + ram?
My Pc:
AMD X6 FX-6100 s.AM3+ 6x 3,3 Ghz
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-D3 s.AM3+
ASUS GTS450 1024MB 128bit PCI-E DDR5
500 Gb sATA HDD
16 GB Dual channel ram AMD Performance Edition 2x4GB DDR3-1600 Dual Chanel

My pc usage when i use 10 vm machines doing referrals.

That's because it is your SATA HDD.
Just make sure your processor doesn't go up to 60º so you won't melt it.

Then you shouldn't talk.

SSD would be the best.

normal HDD would start to swap after ~~3-4 VM's , so either you use multiple HDD or you use an SSD.

I had 7 vm's with a sata 3 hdd. No problem at all.

Never said you couldn't.

But it'll cause your HDD to swap, and then make your HDD to have defective sectors ( still , if you're lucky maybe you won't , but it increases the chances for it ).

It'll also make it lag much, but it's a bot with 5000 delay

I bought one yesterday and iam still waiting on my parcel :)
On my sata hdd III iam doing 9 vm wares right now but it isnt enough to satisfies me >.<
