[DEVELOPMENT] Action 9 Server Exe

As the mod stated...The last thread was being filled with things that had nothing to do with the new executable. Use this thread ONLY for chatting about what needs to be done, and what you have done to get the executables from Nexon Japan working.

Now on a side note, I spoke with some people from china (lq is one) and Someone spoke somethign about the Hong Kong official exe. Do not know if they meant client or server because the language barrier.

So how far are we?
We got the: DKserver.exe working
We got the: Client dk.exe

The Server-side running successful, but we still cant login.
Reasons should be; The Database, SessionServer or LoginServer..
Anything new besides this?

Why u guys dont use some sniffer and try follow the exchange of the packets?

Can you do it?, if that was useful in anyway they already be doing it.

We have been doing it but going about it the wrong way....

U just dont get how english language works, ur basically saying to sniff packets and rewrite the files, why bother doing that. Just start a emulator proj then...

still so far the dkserverexe can not load scriptprocess.dll correctly we need new scriptprocess.dll

lglbwsyt, it has nothing to do with the scriptprocess.dll. That file only loads the dgs if am not wrong..
It should be session and login.

you should follow the sql calls with the profiler when u try and log in for clues on what its calling, maybe its an SP problem?

Hi, I am new here (I have read all the other thread), I just was wondering, were you able to fix the "SESSION IS NULL"? Or did you just skip it?

Why I ask it? Because the DekaronServer is not connecting with the Session (at least mine). I think it is also not connecting with the Cast server.

Decima...Seems the SQL profiler isnt working when i try to login...Even added all events...Nothing. Its a packet issue. Sending the wrong packets to session and login and such

can u run the packet sniffer on the server to see how the packets differ from the old one?

and ill get back to u on the profiler thing, ill have to load it back up and see what all i had to do to get it running.

You DO know you're not just limited to MS SQL 2000?
Try using the newer ones it has better compatibility and has better tracing options.

Yeah I know Z, but until i get more ram (my request for fathers day,plus an internal to external hard drive converter) I can't run a higher end OS yet. So i cant use SQL 2k8 or anything.
