Can someone explain how the hell this happened?

Ok, I had a lvl 113 heavy ring *I know for a fact that it was 113* and later on when I reached 117 I went to go level it up and noticed that it magically reverted back to a lvl 103 *I checked it before I leveled it.

Anybody have any idea how this happened?

does it really matter?

Just stop being a cheap ass and lvl it to the level you need it to be, mets are easier to find than RL grass..

(not a flame, just sayin..)

Um.... I wasn't being a cheap ass, I have more than enough money and mets to level my gear. and I wasn't drunk. My ring seriously went down a level. It wasn't an illusion because I had the status up while I was doing it and noticed it had went down.

And yes, it does matter :D

I had something like that similar happen and it was due to my client being to old and not updated. In this case it was composing, and it looked like the composing worked but when I logged off and back on it was back to where it started (non-composed). Make sure your client is up to date, if you found a way to downgrade item levels you could make a killing!

Finally, someone that doesn't think I was drunk :D

Well, now that I think about it, I did bypass the patch thing a few times because I didn't need it. Maybe that could have caused it.

I'm gonna try something real quick. :D

Reasons I can think of
1) Outdated client(as stated before)
2) Fucked with itemtype.dat and etc, to make it show whatever item it was differently.
3) TQ screwed up again(Wouldn't be suprised if it was this one.)

lol, well...

1) My client is always updated
2) I never mess with the itemtype.dat
3) Well, I guess it does leave this one to be right, but then again who does that surprize? :D
