HEX Problem

My problem is are my "itemtype.dat", it has reach limit item 5000 item on it and the description become [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and im try to delete some item in it by using Winhex/Neo Hex Editor but when i done delete then i check it by using itemtypeeditor by Fun Hacker and i doesnt seem to working :

that means your deleting the wrong things
you must delete 2 things and edit a value

Ill already follow that guided by reading it...and im done changing item value like Louise say on that guided and the itemtype.dat are able to open but 1 more problem appear:

you completely threw the whole itemtype out of structure. get a new one lol
you can always delete items with his editor if you reach the 5000 limit. another thing you can do to get around that is go into it with hex editor and replace the acme eo with what ever the server name is.

I don't think I ever coded the delete button for this one.

However Zombax you can always use my Table converter instead, there is no limits in place for that :)

I'd also say you may have deleted one less item than you should have by the looks of that screen shot

Me do not work with your table converter. can upload your table funhacker?

Nice,about the description i know how to change it using hex,i think it would be great if you create "App" that can delete non-Use item on Itemtype.dat it may help people and pvt server owner...or you can even sell it on BlackMarket Section huhu.Need that app you the best EO app coder you know.

he's still working on his freeware app (The new itemtype editor that won't have any limits on them like the last one did. and from what i seen with his Itemtype editor this one is a lot better than the last one.

I hope so cause i need itemtype without 5000 limit ...
p/s to funhacker: make us ItemDeleteeditor.exe hehe

well he's out for the weekend just keep updated on his release post. but give his table converter. its actually pretty useful :P
