A few Questions

11/02/2008 07:17 driving#1
Im going to put all of my questions into one thread

1. If I am running at x3 or x4 speed, will any1 see me, or will I be invisible.
2. To edit the speed of a mob that does not have a decimal, do i just insert a digit and delete a zero somewhere else?
3. If I change something in the CSV, will it change it in the pak file?
4. When editing in the CSV, does it matter if i add a digit, but dont take one away?
5. When I am vaccing mobs at 10 speed or higher, after a few secconds of being pulled, they slow down and get all glitchy. How do i stop this?

Please answer all of the questions that you can and sorry if I ask too many.

Thanks

I can answer some of your question. :p

1.) Not sure. But you can try to search for invisible hack.
2.)Yes. If u edit in pak.d04, u always replace digit(s).
3.)No. The CSV wont update the pak file.
4.)In CSV u can just change 1 to 999, it doesn't matter.

When you run in speed hack no one can see you. But if you run for a long distance, on others people screen they see you standing still for a few second then vanish.

so if i edit something in the CSV, it would be the same as editing it in the pak file? If i edit my speed on a map in the CSV, i will run at that speed on the map, but it wont change the pak file?

Also how do i change the total amount of mobs that can be lured on a map?

If you have unpacked your files then I suggest using them to edit as it is a lot easier and if you make a mistake then you can do undo without worrying as much lol. This hasn't really been said but I will tell you because it really makes hacking simple. Do not worry about the .pak files at all! Unpack your files and place them all into the main data directory. Now, to run the .CSV files (that's the .pak files unpacked) open up Shadow.txt in your data folder and change the line PackIO 1 to PackIO 0. This way you can actually just have the original pak file in your main data folder then edit your .CSV files without worrying about screwing anything up. Also, this allows you to play legit easier. If you want to use your hacks then open up Shadow.txt and have it set PackIO 0. If you want to play legit then change it back to PackIO 1. I hope this helps!

1. Yes, so far I have tested and anything above 3x regular movement speed you are invisable while running. I haven't tested with just 2x sorry.
2. Yes, if you are editing the .pak file then you will have to add a byte if you remove one. The reason is because the file size has to be the same.
3. No, it will not auto change the .pak.
4. No, it doesn't matter if you add a digit but don't take away one. If the value is 4 and you change it to 99 then you can just save and exit without worries.
5. I am not sure exactly what you mean? If you are speed hacking your regular speed 10x then I suggest you lower it. I usually go 3x my regular speed and change the movement speed of the mobs I VAC to 18. It works perfectly!.

Give a thanks if it helps you!

When my char speed is x3 and i set the mobs speed to 18, it works for a while but once i get a decent sized lure going, the mobs start to move like they are in glue and dont move as fast.

Also since im using the .CSV, do i have to manually do the wall hack, because befor i was using the one click wall hack with winhex

i believe the reason y the mobs get "glitchy" after u lure for a bit is because ur at the max amount u set. (99 for me)
