i3-540 vs i3-2100?

which is better for gaming? or they both do the same performance? and the game im wanting to play is bf3 and crysis 2 (new games):p

the 2100 is 1% better

but for battlefield 3 and crysis a amd phenom x4 or x6 would be better

But why an intel, when you can get an quad core(amd)?

my fault i looked at the overall performance

in gaming the 2100 is whole 2,1% better

ok..... sooo new question........ would the AMD Athlon II X3 450 3.2GHz beat both the intel? and could it play bf3 and other new games on high setting? (i dont care bout ultra setting) and have 30+ fps?

dude the athlon is 40% cheaper - how can you think it will be better ?

a phenom 2 x4/x6 for around the same price will be better
