[Question] Eudemon Questions/Database.

I have 2 questions that I have for you(the community) that I need answered :).

1. How would I change a eudemon's star rank. I know it's in cq_eudemon in the database but when I change the star rank/level the eudemons get a 74455 star ranking, and I don't want that. I just want like a 500* or 1000* eudemon. what would I have to modify to get these stats right?

2. How would I change the rates of how monsters drop EP-Cards/gold/items. is it in the database or is it somewhere else?

1. Growth/INI values in the cq_eudemon table will help you with this. But you either need to use a tool that will calculate the checksum or have a msg.exe that has the checksum removed. You will also have to be careful with what you do, as you can't have pets with growth rates that surpass the 'b' value in cq_grade if it's not a main stat.

2.cq_drop_item_rule is the main place you can change, or you can just increase the chance a monster will drop an item which in turn will increase the chances of a drop item rule being executed.

1. I'm not sure any exist for current msg.exe, there did for older versions, posted by pfj512 I think

2. I feel you're not even trying. If you actually went into the cq_monstertype and then looked at the fields you see one plainly stated 'drop_item_chance'.....

You may find this useful for answering your second question

Chance in dropitemrule!!
If you use this simple equation to work out what number to use in the CHANCE column, you should be able to get stupidly high drops.
1000 = 1 drop per 10k kills
10000 = 1 drop per 1k kills
100000 = 1 drop per 100 kills
1000000 = 1 drop per 10 kills
10000000 = 1 drop per kill

Thats how i make custom drops in the dropitemrule.

Just a suggestion- dont repeat the item code too many times as you will get too many dropped items. What i mean is this, -
14 items of the same kind set at 1 per kill equals a maximum of 14 items that will drop, people use one xp skill and have literally hundreds of items to collect. So either they have to be stackable into the thousands, or limited in the amount that drop.
I hope you understand and I helped.
