CAST-128 (CAST5) Cipher Feedback

Similar to my other work in ciphers, here a CAST-128 cipher for the game encryption. It uses the Cipher Feedback (CFB64) method like the OpenSSL implementation used by TQ in CO2. My implementation uses pointers, so it can be considered as unsafe.

I decided to release it independently of the CO2_CORE_DLL project. As it is part of the library, you must add the Kernel file.

PS. I updated the CO2_CORE_DLL too, with a revised Blowfish cipher.

Not to be rude or anything, but if you took the work to do this in base C# instead of loading DLLs, you could eliminate the Windows specific code like memcpy to make it run on Mono as well. Nice work nonetheless!

The Kernel class contains bunch of C functions like memcpy, but in pure C#. It will work on Mono without any modification. There is no WinAPI call.

I already did one and it doesn't require any implementation to understand this simple key exchange :rolleyes: I just never post it separately, but it's in the CO2_CORE_DLL. But thanks anyway for the intention.

Everyone that is using this implementation should update with the new version! There was a memory leak (some variable weren't deleted in the key generation routine). I updated the post and the CO2_CORE_DLL.

I profited of the moment to change some things. I tried to reduce the number of dynamic allocation by forcing the use of the stack. (Unsafe in C#) I will not update other topics, so, you may take a look to the CO2_CORE_DLL if you also use some others implementations.

Sorry for the memory problem.
