Probleme mit MySQL

Hallo,


ich arbeite im Moment an einem eigenen kleinen LC-Server, habe aber immer und immer wieder das selbe problem beim installieren von MySoQL. Bei der Instalation wird mir kurz vor Abschluß folgende Error-Meldung angezeigt.

Ich hab in der Firewall dem TCP 3306 als Ausnahme hinzugefügt und auch auch immer das selbe Passwort benutzt wie im Error beschrieben.


Bitte helft mir, ich hab keine Ahnung mehr was ich noch machen kann. :confused:

mysql pw stimmt?
(per phpmyadmin o.ä. überprüft)
kann sosnt gerne mal per TV schauen

Obviously your wrong like usual. The original posters problem is MySQL was installed on the machine once before. When you uninstall MySQL the machine retains its root passwords. So if you install MySQL at a later date the passwords remain the same (MySQL security concept). My guess is on the last step when it asks him to generate a password using the wizard, he gets nothing but authentication errors when he proceeds to the 4 stage final process. Because hes trying to overwrite an existing password for that user.
