Linux or Windows??

Hi,

what kind of dedicated server is better Linux or Windows ?

and is this a good server for 1500-2000 people ?

2 x AMD Opteron™ 4180
2 x 6 x 2,6 GHz
16 GB
2 x 1.000 GB

Linux is better ofcourse then windows for many reasons:
-Open Source Software
-You can hardly get a virus (a Linux virus is not impossible to get)
-No backdoor
-Performance & Stability
-Command Line
And many other reasons; just read more about linux :)

Unfortunately these files are not working on linux :(
