data.pak

I hope this isn't a noob question. I can get all my hacks to work fine, but the main problem is, I can't find the damn data.pak file. I have no idea where it is. I've looked in every folder and I just can't find it. I've used the unpacker already and I'm wondering if that's why I can't find it?

This is weird, how can u get all the hack to work fine when u can't even find the data.pak?

I edit everything through the pack.d04. That isn't the data.pak is it?

EDIT: by all my hacks, I mean only VAC. I can't get skill, wall or anything else to work because I can't find the data.pak to even try.

The data.pak does not exist on your harddrive anymore.
Some time ago there was only 1 data files called data.pak.
But now the data.pak got splitted in pack.d01 etc. and the client first has to merge those splitted files and then unpack them.
So look in every pack file for your hacks.

Thanks for clearing that up. My only problem now is that none of my pack files contain the info for skills :[

Been searching through each one for an hour now and I still can't find the right one.

The 4th has it.

If you've unpacked it, then go to data/share/skill and watch there.

pack.d04, has all u need...
