Purpose of your Private Server

hello guys i made this thread to see really what you want or get out of your private server.





because really there is too many pointless servers out there.
i hope this thread will make you realize that some servers are not worth hosting.

easy to answer this one
why there's alot servers out there even if they are same damn cap .etc=money
about for fun ...you will find them hamachi servers

Having a great time with friends and doing funny stuff together.
I like partying, no matter for what !
Even mass pvp is interesting.

Researching and development. Marked other but I think it can be considered also as "For fun".

i have to say as fun
synx has make it clear about researching and dev
i have to admit i got a certain curiosity complex with everything(i want to try new stuff and know how other works) and for both dev and fun are ok
in fact you should have made the poll for multiple options, not just one

After a while running a server for friends and many years of playing isro and trying out other pservers that were rare.. I have suddenly got bored of silkroad. I ran my server for fun, and didn't make a dime from it. Last words from me in the silkroad world on epvpers.. R.I.P Silkroad Online, it was fun while it lasted. Good luck to all of you who have made it successful and to those who are attempting to do the same.

Here he is talking about the purporse of our private servers, mine is what I said, but I already decided that I won't release profitable stuff on the pserver scene because money is involved.
Anyway, the refpath table that the community made is pretty accurate, only wrong values are movespeed and spawnrange. And still shouldn't affect too much the final result.

its not about the release some thing atm !!
if talks about synx he did a lot and i saw lots of his releases was good
so he meant the development itself not current situation
to stop releasing its his own decision ..

Wait I don't even have server '-'.

But if I had one I would do it for development n' researches.

will im gonna open my server for tow reason`s first one it to try my own work on it my 3d designs and 2nd reason for money i dont think there is some one gonna buy a server just to have fun with friends :)

Yup, during beta my server will have instant 120 cap and free silks, for find bugs and test features. After beta not, but its obvious host a server is expensive and I'm working hard to get enough for the first payment of the dedicated servers.
