[Release] ItemType Modifier

[Version 1.3]

This handy little tool modifies your ItemType file.

So if you want to change your ItemType file so you can see the quality of Items on the ground, just run this tool, do what it says, and it will modify it accordingly.

After you modify your ItemType.txt file, you will get a ItemType2.txt file, rename it ItemType.txt, then decrypt it again. Put the decrypted file in your Conquer folder.

Use DatCryptor to Decrypt/Encrypt.

Change Log:
[v1.3]
- Choose what file name to modify.

[v1.2]
- Gems are now modified.

it just created an ItemType2.txt file what do i do with that?

Doesnt work for me...

1)Download itemtypeDeEn.rar (attached)
2)Download ItemType Modifier (attached)
3)Open itemtype.exe in itemtypeDeEn folder
4)"Choose SourceFile" find your itemtype.dat and save
5)"Choose DestinationFile" the place where your itemtype.txt will be saved
6)Click "Do it"
7)Put itemtype.txt to "ItemType Modifier" folder
8)Run ItemType Modifier.exe
9)Write start and click enter
10)Wait a bit, while it's changing things ;D
11)Then open itemtype.exe (in itemtypeDeEn folder)
12)"Choose SourceFile" find your itemtype.txt and save
13)"Choose DestinationFile" find your itemtype.dat ( in co folder )
14)Then just click do it ..
15)Log in Co and check ;]

Should be ok ;p

Edit: did everything as u says and all the items were gone i couldnt see anything:P

You guys don't see anything cuz
TQ made quality drops look like normal drops
So you can't see anything except for weps.

I dont have any doubts about this program working and i hope this doesnt make me a retard but i followed Sniguracka's instructions then logged on and all i got was a naked char that couldnt se any items at all. Kinshi, if you could be nice enough to explain how to make this work i would be greatly appreciated and im sure others would too. I dont have an itemtype.txt file but i did manage to make one following the instructions but i have no idea how. I wasnt able to change it to an itemtype2.txt and for some reason when i use the itemtypeDeEn.rar i dont get an exe for it. If you dont want to help with this i would understand but like i said, i would be greatly appreciated.

Alright, so in your Client folder, there is the ItemType.dat file, correct? (Located in the ini folder)
This is Encrypted, so you have to get a .bat decrypter to make the ItemType.txt file.

So you put ItemType.txt and the Modifier into the same folder, then run the Modifier. When asked for the file, type ItemType, then let the modifier do its thing.

When the modifier is done, you will have a new txt file called ItemType2.txt. Delete ItemType.txt, and rename ItemType2.txt to ItemType.txt, then encrypt it again with the .bat decrypter to make it ItemType.bat again.

Put ItemType.bat back into your Conquer folder, then start up Conquer.

Note: Make sure Conquer is closed for this process.


Its an extremely simple process.

Ugh...i used Sniguracka's itemtpyeDeEn again to decrypt and it created another itemtype file. Just a plain file of apparently no type. I assume that its supposed to create a .txt file. I'll explain what i di exactly.

1. extracted the itemtpyeDeEn.rar file
2. clicked on the .exe
3. clicked choose sourcefile
4. clicked itemtype.dat
5. clicked choose destinationfile
6. typed itemtype in the filename box then saved (tried this in the CO folder and another folder i created)
7. checked the file created to find the unknown file type file


What do i do from here? I know if i run your modifier at this point it creates an itemtype2.txt but it is 0KB.....confused lol. I dont want to be a pain in Kinshi's ass so if anyone knows whats going on, help would be great. Im pretty sure ive done this right so far and got a wrong outcome or im missing a step.

Also....thx Kinshi for the explanation. What you explain makes it easier, im just having a brainfart or something.
