server.dat

heey all i am trying to create a private server of CO with 5570 ,
now i have 2 change the server.dat file and i cant open it ,,,
i have used over 6 different programs to open it and i keep getting

does anyone have the text for me what is inside ,,,

You have to use nullables loader (Conquerloader) and you won't get to patch 5570 anyways, because 1. I know for sure you don't have the new encryptions and 2. you don't just take a client of the patch you want a server, packets change between and I doubt you have the new packet structures anyways.

ik have in total 2 post with this one 3 sow u can figure out yourself that i am new in this world ,,,

then could u tell me witch of the newest CO client/patch i can use ??

Not sure when exactly the new stuff appeared but 5518 is the last patch where server were released for.

is there a desent guide on how to i google search but all i can vindt is things from 07/08 :S

is there something here more present
