[Project] - Dawn Of the Future (DOF)

Hi!

I failed to find members for the team so I decided to start it on my own.

Uploaded the website to a web space as requested:

Browser compatibility:

• At the moment it is the best idea to use Google Chrome to view the website

Progress:

• Did some designing (Don't blame me for how it looks (it will be improved as soon as possible)).
  PS: Background image was not created by me and will be changed.
• Implemented Login page
• Implemented Register page
• Created the database for users (It will need to be changed later on I believe)
• If the user logs in for more than the first time then it takes him to the actual game page.
• If the user logs in for the first time it takes him to character creation page.
• Designed Char creation screen (draft of how it looks).

TODO:

• Form validations
• Add anti bot checker for registration
• Auto activation email send after each registration
• Implement image loading for char creation page (ajax?javascript?php?xml?)
• Implement character creation page so that it saves the data to character table.
• Increase browser compatibility

And more but these are short-term targets.

Known bugs:

• .tk domain may cause that every time you refresh the page it takes you back to home page

Questions:

Q: Where should I start creating the character creation page?
Q: How do I link the MySQL tables so that the users and characters tables are connected?
Q: Do you like the name of the game?

Need help in implementing character creation :handsdown:

Hi again, well I see youve been very busy :D

If you mean how to make a character creation, I would recommend adding a field to you user table called char_created or smthing smaller xD and when player register set it to zero. When the player logs into the game have it check if char is created, if so go to main page and load char info and if not send to char creation page. Once created set char_created to 1.

Update: Draft look of character creation screen and basic funcitonality
Update: Changed design of home page (tell me what you like and do not like)

TODO: Loading images once the user chooses the char class from the list
