Mabinogi Compatibility?

Hi, this is pepole12 here. I recently upgraded my OS to windows 8! Mabinogi wont run. I have used Google, nothing is working there. I have tried everything in my knowledge to try and get Mabinogi to run. I was wondering if someone would like to help me out? Team view with me? It would be awesome if I could get it running again. Thanks for reading :)! :D

My only advice is to re-install Windows 7 until Windows 8 is tested more.. its a developmental release for a reason

Or vmware if you're keen on windows 8.

Alright! So, because windows XP is the best OS out there. I installed it. I've installed all drivers manually. (sound,graphics) Now when mabinogi starts, it puts my computer in sleep mode -,-. The keyboard/mouse are locked. My screen turns black. So I have to restart my computer. Therefore Mabinogi wont start. :c

Are you sure that's sleep mode...?

Also, doesn't sound like the best OS out there, considering it goes to sleep when you want to play :<

That is true. But almost everything is compatible with windows XP. Anyway, My screen light (its green when its on) , When my computer goes into sleep mode, (it goes yellow). That's what my computer does, when I open mabinogi. But, Lets just say then, it turns my screen black. Nothing is usable until I restart the computer. :c

P.S: Screen light: Little tiny light in the corner beside the power button.

So, all that happens is all output to the monitor stops, not sleep mode.

If you can't run any 3D applications, it's time to buy a new computer/graphics card.
