Account Server Incorrect Path?

Alright, so I am using Windows 7- 64bit, and I am having issues with the Account Server.exe version 6.127-1, I get all my files configured properly, following several different guides to the T, and go to run the Accountserver to start the server, but the file either disappears completely or i get an error message saying:

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

I have tried running it in administrator mode, as well as compatibility mode and both at the same time, all to no avail. ANY help would be appreciated and yes I have configured Mysql, and have a green light with the proper user/pass entered.

EDIT

I have searched around more and found a similar problem where the guy was told to allow it through firewall, the msg server and npc server which both load up fine are both already in there but when i try to add account server to firewall exceptions I get an error message saying:

"AccountServer Version 6.127-1 You do not have permission to open this file. Contact the file owner or an administrator to obtain permission."

I am the only user on my computer and I am the administrator, this happens with and without mysql running.

your antivirus is blocking access to the file.
change your AV
usual AV's that do this are AVG Avast and Avira,
try Microsoft Security Essentials which is downloadable free here
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Available to anyone who has a legit copy of windows.
than re extract your account/msg/npc servers and run it again and you'll be fine

Okay thank you! I had to find a guide to completely disabling windows defender and then unblocking the program through security essentials and it is now working thanks a ton
