1. Client would never know which mob is gonna drop a DB
2. Even server doesn't know which mob is gonna drop a DB
3. Whether the DB drops is defined when the mob dies

but meteor dove can be different:
ther is 2 kind of meteor dove:
1)normal
2)real 5 dropp
their mechs have to be different
if anyone edit it it will be different

Meshes are the same, you can have two monsters with the same mesh. All gold/silver/iron/copper guards are the exact same mesh, and the size is just altered based on the name.

Conquer doesn't use meshes in packets however, they use types which are defined in the monster.dat

Each type carries different attributes that the client assigns to it: name, sizeadd, zoom, armet, all kinds of crap. You used to be able to discern between meteor doves because there were 2 different types in the monster.dat. You filter 0x3f6 packets, look for the meteor dove type, change it's type to something else (Ganoderma or Titan always work xD) and pass it to the client, making meteor doves look like a Ganoderma or Titan and therefore easy to spot.

I don't know how they've fixed this in some of the more recent updates, but it is still probably exploitable in some way.
