need help please

ok i am haveing trouble joining my own private server for eudemons and i have check all over the forums and no one gives any help. so i am hopeing i will at least get decent help well ok now for my problem. i got the server up and this none explained nor even any true help with oem.ini and i still cant login to my server. i got it to the point where it say the server is either congested or under maintince. i have no idea why i cant login to my server and i hope i can get some true help and yes i know i am a noob this is my first time trying to make my own private server so dont give me anything like you noob why dont you look at the forums. I HAVE and there is nothing worth while in there so please help me and dont be a jerk about it either.

I've actually been trying to help femalesoul with getting the private server up my self, I downloaded and installed all the files needed, we have been working on this for hours and still nothing. I am experiance, as I have gotten a WoW Server up, Maple Story, Gunz, and Lineage II server, some took longer than others but when i needed help it was easy to get, however I have to agree, the help that has been givin for eudemons so far has hardly been any help at all. I have tried several diffrent oem.ini files, I've configed them all correctly, tried a few variations, ect ect. Nothing worked, infact, I had to go get a paladin patch, just for the oem.ini to even get close to working, of course I have mysql, navicat, and wamp all configed the way it should be, hence ive had multiple servers before, and still all the oem.ini has done has made the servers in the list change, according to what i put in, but never has it actually allowed me to connect it always comes up with the same error reguardless of what i put in it, I've even downloaded diffrent clients, diffrent patches, just to make sure. and STILL nothing. If anyone could give a GOOD guide for help, and dont direct me to this bullshit guide

because the first one was half ass done, and the guy who made the guide for the oem file, did a horrid job, the layout did not work at all. I would have had better luck shuving my own head up my ass. I found another oem.ini from one of the patches that did infact work, but as i said, even it didn't allow me to connect to the server.

I mean absolutly no offence to the creators of these guides, however. they did me hardly if absolutly no help at all. I would love it, if someone could actually give us some help with this server, instead of just directing us to other guides, unless you know 100% it works. If there is any info you need, reguarding the server, we would be happy to give it to you, as long as you give help in return.

Oh and btw, for all you idiots that think flaming is going to do any diffrence, rofl, your wrong, and all you'll do is make your self look like a complete idiot.

Anyway, thank you all for the ones who DO decide to give us decent help.

Well that was a tad unnecessary.

Need I remind you that this is a volunteer support community; under no contract is any individual required to assist you in any way regarding the server files, database, or client that they did not create. So please, for those of us that help on our own accord, often without reward, quit your bitching.

All formalities aside, you can start by showing us the oem.ini that you're trying to work with, as you should have done somewhere between rant 1 and rant 2.

lol ok that was kinda funny i gotta admit. and yes 99% of the time we share something we rarely get thanked or even credit for. Somone always comes along and steals our stuff. But Meh such is life. I can see where your comming from and i can see where they are coming from. Alot of times people ask for help and certin members and i wont name names but he has Epvp Freak in his thingy. like to act like they are all high and mighty, Report someone for calling someone else a retard yet 3 posts later in a differnt thread they are calling people a bunch of unnecessary names. So i can see why they made the comment of If your going to flame walk off or something to that effect. I dunno i like thier attitude, hence why i offered to help em. Its refreshing to see it...:P

@Zerian666 I would be careful on how you word your posts form now on plenty of people do or DID help untill others started to leech or just make threads with links to our stuff in them calling it a guide without any real creds or thanks

on topic though
it seems your status link isnt right try changing it to even google.com it just needs a solid connection without that it wont even try to login to your server let us know if it helps

guess you could try your hamachy ip in the status area you can delete the sections exit and vip link and in my experience you dont need the port number in the server area one more to add is your server amount is 1 not 6

That's a rather screwy-looking oem.
This is the one I use, and I have no problems with it. Just change the server name and the IP.
And, as funhacker said, putting port number is not required in hamachi.

Well I appreciate everyone for all your help. The issue was actually the "oem.ini" was nad and the database, along with the client being the wrong version. So as I said before, BOTH the guides i posted up there were crap, never use them, infact they should be deleted for several reasons, First off, stealing work and giving no credit, and second, being false, incomplete, and just total crap. However as I said before thank you all for posting and helping. Me, FemaleSoul and DEADPOOL did actually get in contact on MSN, and he helped us from there. So, special thanks to DEADPOOL.

The server is up, and fully functional.

Much appreciated from all of you.

I think by ranting that person , your trying to make yourself look all high and mighty.

Besides that hes trying to help people out simply because alot of the mods in Eo pserver section don't do anything at all.
