getting infected with keylogger ?

hello all

i want to know, if u could get a keylogger, when u just visite a site

and

if u could get a keylogger, by just dl`ing a program (w/o installing it - just dl)

and

how i could check that "program" (file) b4 i dl it ... (plz post site here thx)

run an antivirus with firewall and everything will be okay.

EDIT:I dont think you can check whether a file is virused before downloading it.maybe just by viewing some comments posted where the file download is.
