Atomix Sro

Anyone know what is going on with the server?Today is the second day that the server is off and still no message on their forum what is going on.

If anyone have some information about when the server will be up please just post here.

DDoS attack, as i saw ^_~

Someone was jelly.

or some ppl enyoj ddosing other servrs

If it is ddos attack again then they should invest in some protection and why they don't give any kind of information on their website it is kinda stupid to not letting their player know that is going on.
They just losing more player because of lack of support and information providing to their player.

Anyone know a good server with active staff?

Uuhm ankaru it's easy for you to say that they should buy some protetion. But the fact is that a ddos protection will only help you if you get dossed by some small botnets mabye even a small botnet is already too much.

No matter how much ddos protection you have or how good it is. If the botnet is big enough they can get your server down.

I get that but they still should give any kind of information to their player what is going on.It isn't really that hard to make a post and say that they are under attack and will be back in like 72hour or longer. How hard is to give quick message to player?

It seems like they don't care about their player because there isn't any any any information what is going on.
If they just would let us know then there wouldn't be any problem.

Actually, we did. please do look well before you start asking.
Server is under a continuous ddos attacks by a botnet. we are having a new hardwall firewall that could never fix everything but would help enough to stay up. please be patient. we are having the game online with 1k slots untill we get the firewall fully setup. We are so sorry for the downntime. -Mykha

Actually, Ankaru has a very good point, and I agree with him 110%. The Atomix SRO staff has done a PISS POOR job of notifying its customers of what is going on.

Their forum has no update or mention of the current situation of their server. If you're talking about their sticky'd note about the server downtime, that post was posted on 1/25/12, almost 4 whole weeks ago. If THAT post is supposed to be the notification, then the staff of Atomix is more inept than I thought. I'm not even going to get started about the uselessness of the Atomix forum.

I am so irritated by the Atomix staff that I purposely came on here to finish creating this account, which I don't even remember when I originally signed up, to post this reply.

Atomix SRO staff, if you're reading this, please do yourself a favor and keep your forum UPDATED DAILY with the latest info. You are LOSING customers by not doing so, and you need to start treating your private SRO project as a business, which so far you guys are not.

Well, there is nothing to notify. what is happening currently is being told many times on different places.
Atomix been under DDOS attacks for long time. the hardwall firewall couldn't do anything against it. tho we are preparing to move hosts. new host should be much better.
Please be patient. i will announce once it's online again. Sorry for the downtime.
