[notice]VMWARE (dual client)

02/09/2012 21:22 warlordianx#1
for those having a problem running VMWARE

to avoid error regarding Gameguard Gamemon

be sure you patch your GC first in your 1st workstation before cloning it

then run both workstation the 1st and the 2nd

when they both arrive at windows xp desktop (I use xp for small hardware resources)

at the 2nd workstation right click my computer, then click properties, change

the name
of your pc to any you want as long it is not the same as the

first workstation (why do we do this because to avoid duplicate network exist, it may trigger gameguard and you will have a gamemon error, so changing the pc name is important)

then restart the 2nd workstation

be sure before entering GC you must load GC first on 1st workstation then the 2nd workstation to avoid gameguard conflicts

important notes:

Since we knew GC is getting better and better, and also its graphics and hardware requirements is increasing (my point is your current hardware can't handle dual client using dual core perfectly)

so I will share a minimum system requirement to run GC dual client on VMware

if you need two vmware client

minimum requirement:

WINDOWS XP ----------------------------------VISTA/7 32/64bit

dual core 3.0ghz---------------------------------------dual core 3.0ghz
2 gb ram-----------------------------------------------3-4gb ram
1gb videocard------------------------------------------1gb videocard

vmware setting:

1 core per processor 1 core per processor
set 1gb ram set 1gb ram

note:
32bit systems have a 3gb ram limitations

my recommended settings (for lesser lag)

WINDOWS XP------------------------------------ VISTA/7 32/64bit

dual core 3.2ghz and up------------------------------dual core 3.2ghz and up
3 gb ram or more------------------------------------3-4gb ram or more
2gb videocard----------------------------------------2gb videocard

vmware setting:
WINDOWS XP------------------------------------ * *VISTA/7 32/64bit
1 core per processor----------------------------------1 core per processor
set 1.2gb ram----------------------------------------- set 1.2gb ram

if you want to handle upto 6 clients of GC

well Im sorry to say you need high end system like core i7 or 6 core cpu bulldozer/phenom

its setting must be

per workstation it must be

worksation 1
1 core = 1.2gb ram

worksation 2
1 core = 1.2gb ram

worksation 3
1 core = 1.2gb ram

worksation 4
1 core = 1.2gb ram

worksation 5
1 core = 1.2gb ram

worksation 6
1 core = 1.2gb ram

so there you go a total of 6 core and 7.6 or ram dedicated (the more memory you dedicated to workstation the lesser the lag is, also applicable to cores)

benefits of dual client:

for boosting of wins and level

for Captain match mode exp boost

for nightmare circus ticket farming

for other GC events that requires PVP battles to farm event items

offtopic:
I am jealous of my cousin because he can handle 6 GC clients, his purpose for that is to boost his exp in cap match mode, too bad I can only handle four gc clients :(

If there's a flaw in my guide, feel free to correct me XD (it's hard to speak english, because this is an english speaking website wew)
I will edit this post soon !!
