To Be Honest I'd like to be in a staff team to work with, ive been playing Conquer for like 1year and havent been able to work with a staff team and teach me stuff. I dont know the commands without looking them up and I dont even know what PM stands for.

I hope you know how i feel like.
I want to learn the commands, edit files lots more, i have alot of time on my hands so I am bein dedicated to a new server still looking for staff to accept me for a member in the community.

Thanks!

well lets start with PM
PM can mean many things like Private Message, but in most games it means Player Master.

and as I dont have a surname said just read through guides, test it alll out play around with sources and clients.

Project Manager*

I personally don't want an extra weight on my project. Programming takes a lot time to learn. Start learning and maybe you can join other people that are on the same level as you are.

._. *clears throat* I don't want to add friends to the server programming part of the project. I want the features to be a surprise for you all.

it depends, PM can be player master or project manager. depends on the role of the pm in the server. as GM means Game Master. so really Admin, and the PM's are Mods

In this game, PM means Project Manager. It really doesn't matter though. You're hosting a private server; you can call it whatever you want. Here's what I recommend that you do. Go to my source list and take a look at a source you might be interested in developing. Start by making NPCs. I started on NewestCoServer v2 by coding NPCs. Coding smart NPCs like from quests can be very helpful. Then, bump this thread and we'll see what people have to say then. I know by that time, I might be able to add you to a collaboration source. :)

Edit: And what I mean by starting with smart NPCs is that you should explore your database and source and work with what you have available. A lot of people who code NPCs don't use the resources that they have in front of them. This is from my old wiki (which I'm currently moving to my new one), but maybe it'll help: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
