[READ] Models

i bet this is a stupid question but i tryed everything....
i got new dds files 3dc files and mlt files but how do i get to see the new models and see how the gear looks in game >_>

It's been awhile, but you say you've got the 3d models (3dc), the imagery (dds) and the mlt (link directory). So did you link the item to the model?

Sorry, it's been way too long since I messed with the visual aspects of a Shaiya client, and I never was very knowledgeable on it. If you have the dds and 3dc and such properly configured in the mlt file, and the index of the mlt entry in the proper field in the Item.SData, while having them patched in, then it should work.

If it doesn't, then perhaps one of our members who know more of the client editing than I do can help you.

wait a sec i think it worked now o.O cus like 10 mins ago it didnt show now i think it shows

wow lol 1min gonna go check in game too see if shows :D

and 1 more thing in game it shows like double icons and some icons are just blank black

and doesnt show in client ugh

Are you trying to add custom content? or are you adding the newer ep5 gears?
The easiest way to do it is rebuild the sdata files through lph's tool. Get the OS client and import in all the new models and files needed, It should be very simple to do since you are just importing the working files ito your client, If these are custom items you have to use your own brain.exe or post some images so we have a more clear picture of how you did it.
