Create zones: no PK

02/01/2012 15:27 darckistyle#1
Hello, I am looking to create areas where pk is prohibited, as in the cities, how?
02/01/2012 16:01 haxti#2
think those zones are defined somewhere inside the client. either db oder map files.
02/01/2012 16:26 darckistyle#3
but where?
02/01/2012 17:27 Xijezu#4
rdb-files ftw. :)
02/14/2012 23:08 darckistyle#5
That is to say, I do not understand

rdb files are the encrypted client database files. Those are in those big data files and i think in some of those resources. You can get a part of them with dragon unpacker but you won't be able to open/edit them without any tool. Arcadia got those tools

Dragon Unpacker only scans original data files to extract image data (jpg, dds and tga), which is useless in your situation.
02/15/2012 15:38 darckistyle#8
ok, so how did I do?
02/15/2012 16:43 haxti#9
You can go to Arcadia and hope you will be accepted and furthermore hope, that you gain access to their tools. But this will take some time... I'm still waiting...
02/15/2012 16:46 darckistyle#10
if I come to Arcadia is not out of interest, if I come in Arcadia, is helped to
03/02/2012 05:25 darckistyle#11
you can help me??
03/03/2012 06:07 wisp66#12
ill give u a tip there not defined in the client there defined in the map files as zones u would need to actly alter the maps them selfs not the config files
03/03/2012 10:12 darckistyle#13
I would not make pk this area and its surroundings: X: 115744 Y: 85458 and this area: X: 116508 Y: 89620

otherwise I have no way of delving into the client's resource file = /

thank you

don't know if you guys been on retail since the zooming got better, but they got a feature where you can zoom on a map area like the city of rondo is cut in 4 pieces and you can zoom in on every one of those 4 for closer look... i was wondering are the map areas also built this way or are they whole areas = 1 map

as in where the music stops/changes is different map-file and any changes made to it, only affects that area..
