####-ACTION AGAINST SCAMMERS-####

What kind of action you think should be taken by staff against scammers?

1º- should be prevented from returning to Elitepvpers with a permanent ip ban ?

2º In the case of coming back after ban his old account should be linked to the new one so all members know what measures should take to protect themselves of being scammed all over again ?

An IP ban is not working. You can avoid the IP ban by restarting your router.

The one and only method is, follow our trading tips and trade only over epvp. A ban isn´t helping. People just create a new account and do the same again. And epvp has not the capacity to check every new account if it is an old scammer with a new account. :rolleyes:

Mac address ban??

That can also be changed, there's no sure way to stop scammers from making new accounts. The BEST thing to do - follow the given trading tips and you won't be scammed.

HWID check would be an option :)

The -1 from AndrewRocky are one from Skylar saying that trade went fine , and an admin will change it and one from hardsoda that is no more on this forum :) So one -1, shit happens.

And the account got banned because i created this account :) not cuz of scamming lmfao .

not really as u would be restricted to only log in from 1 pc. if u need hwid to log in on ur acc its only accesible from there or if u dont need it to log in but just look if more than one acc has the same hwid its no use cause many ppl have also a notebook or second pc or sth like that. and i for one dont want to give epvpers the permission to look for my hwid

Also, we do not have access to such data, as people need to scan their HWID and submit it to us.

As said by Aimless, we do not have the manpower to do that.

what keeps me going in this forum its the reward system we have from staff,if u tell the truth the reward is an infraction...nice way u guys have to figth scammers btw.

1º- If u are a decent member just stay in ur corner and stfu coz we have lack of man power and we dont need u to tell us the truth otherwise u get an infraction.

2º- If u are a scammer member just scamm how mutch u want coz u will get a ban but do not worry coz we will welkome u back agen in a new fresh account so u can do ur scamms agen.

So now im realy geting the full picture how this forum realy works...and im really sad.

All I can see from your side are complaints. So, just tell us what we should do in your opinion. And please post realistic stuff. ;)

well i dont see from ur side any ideas to and that is ur job,wat i see is u guys teling that nothing can be donne against scammers.
And one good idea came from EliteDKTrader , HWID check would be an damn good option to start.
