now paypal said the payment was unauthorised and they held/placed the payment and limit access my account because the trade looked suspicous. thats what they told me, yet i did nothing wrong... seems like a scam to me.

You didn't accept the payment so I just cancelled it at my end. If you did I wouldn't have been able too. Also verify your account to get rid of its limited status.
