Atomix SRO Server check?? PLS HELP

Hi everyone this is my first time writing on here,
just installed Atomix SRO and wondering if there is currently a server update, as when i open the client it goes immediately to "check" state and i can't log in.
Any advice appreciated.

if its ok "check" is because its on check
and i think atomix has been down for some days

the server has been working fine the last couple days, but today it went check the whole day, they say they are being DDOSed :(

Servers been DDOSd since yesterday 12pm, not giving into some kid. all i can ask is to just be patient :) ive got nothing but time.

[GM]Chooper said that there are DDOS attack and that`s the reason why the server is most of the time down.

Be patient. Hope we get an event for compensation :)

Are you guys able to put it up back today? people are scared for a rollback or whatever, it would be great if you guys made a post on your frontpage of your offical website to inform everyone.

"As you may of noticed server is continuosly up and down wich is due to DDOS. We are working with the host to sort this but im afraid we just need to sit back and wait for the kid to grow up and stop. I will continue to work on project X as a i have a copy of the DB on my home PC. Sorry all for the incovienence but theres not alot i can do right now."

Cant you guys give out the ip's you getting ddos'ed from so we can ping out his dossers and fix the prob?

It doesnt really work like that. The person is controlling a zombie farm which is basically a large group of computers which are doing the DDoS he isn't part of the network when the DDoS starts he basically just enters the IP address the attack. It would take alot to take one computer down then the next and the next to eventually stop the DDoS and would be pointless because it would be just as easy for them to get another zombie or just intitate the same zombie in the farm.

All you can do is mitigate the DDoS and try to shield against it. Not much you can do against DDoS

Nah not really, it can be a zombie he has, or some hacked servers and put up a dos shell, wich means hes using some ip's, if we take the ip's down its done for a long itme till he gets alot of zombies / servers back.

Hm theres one thing u could do and i think u were able to do so too.
You get alot of Money from people buying silk. So you should have enough money to buy a DDoS Protection which just Cost 299$/Month. And I think u guys get easily more then that. Btw i already bought silk for 50€ from u so thats almost 1/3.
Server Costs are around 300 - 400$ i guess. So why dont u just buy a DDoS protection which does not cost so much?

There is no 100% protection against DDoS..
FBI and CIA servers down from this too xd

Haha those guys which were able to get FBI and CIA servers down are almost Hacker Pro's
and i dont think those guys are wasting their time in Silkroad xD
