Picture Tutorial [Vac Hack]

First off I didn't create this hack; I'm just trying to help out the new people here who want to learn.

Thanks to run4fun2222, zwartsz, and all the others for making this possible.

Getting Setup:

1.) Download winhex Version 15.1 and use this to register.
Name: "mazuki"
Addr1: "mazuki"
Addr2: "darksiderg"
Key1: 2DBB9E5341FE627B18B1DF45EA900C87
Key2: 16A475C08C71A4FFDA81B95A0799C5C2
Chksm: 55

2.) Go to your data folder and make a back-up copy of your pack.d04.

Hacking pack.d04:

1.) Open up Winhex, go to file-open-acclaim-data-pack.d04 and hit open.

2.) Click options on your winhex 15.1 window, click edit mode, click Default edit mode.

3.) Now we're going to non-aggro your monsters. I'm going to use Styx because he's a commonly hacked monster. Press alt+g and type in 283771456 that will bring you right to styx. (use decimal mode)

4.) Now don't worry about anything after the Styx with a capital, just the lower case one. You should see this though

Change that to. (just the bold numbers)

5.) Now that your monsters are non-aggro we have to make them follow you. Now remember the number in front of the Styx; the one with a capital. So 2251, now press alt+g again and type in 283410304 that takes you to this.

change to (just the bold again)
2251,6,15,18,6,2000,2000,1200,500,0,0,0,50,2,0,4,30,0,0

6.) Make sure you've used the launcher bypass. The easiest way to do this is by right clicking your desktop, go to new, click shortcut, browse, find your dekaron_nsse and open that, right click the new shortcut and add m_cher behind the ". It should look like this

7.) Double click your new shortcut and login. You do not have to restart or reinstall your client if it gives you a error. Just keep click for example soulbane and hitting connect until you get inside.

Cuz i cant delete anythyng in winhex

click right in front of the number you want to change and then start typing. You might have to retype a portion of the line but just type what's coming next, include the commas.

Find Penril Knight in that same section where you edit the styx. it'll look something like (not the real number for him)->1502,Penrilknight.

Styx is 2251,Styx, etc.

OMG STOP POSTING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN >.>. instead making so much threads on editing Styx , which is bairly helpfull since its in a high lvl location make a tutorial on a monster thats harder thats not making 1,1,3 to 3,1,1 its so simple . make a tutorial on like a no aggrgo for a lower area where most people can get t without lvl retictions thats not just switching numbers thats right by each other. That would be alot helpfull. i say ths becuase everytmie itry to this with Styx it works but if i do with another monster (closer to my lvl ) i get invalid client nomatter if i do it once , twice or 30 times! i still get invalid client. so far the tutorials have introduced the concept buthas not help me what so ever x.x

what monsters are you having trouble with?

What part do you need help on and for what monster?

On styx but i cant delete " , " at me the line is

You don't need to delete anything.

okay so it used to look like this
2251,6,15,18,6,2000,2000,1200,1000,0,0,0,50,2,0,4, 3,0,0
put your curser here ->1000 in front of the 1000 and type 500,0,0,0,50,2,0,4,30 including the commas and you should be all set (don't space). We're just moving the 0 from 1000 to the 3 making it 30.

If i would be you, i wouldn't go VACing anything in Heiharp. There's a good chance of being banned in tight populated maps like that. Only VAC in dungeons and maps ppl don't go in like Norak and Castor to be on the safer side. But though it's your choice. :)
