To be honest, I dont really want to post this. But I believe in letting folks know things that may have an effect on their lives. So please dont shoot the messenger.
I dont know if anyone here has had this happen, or knows someone who its happened to, or if anyone has posted this info before, but .............
There is a person going around pservers threatening them with a proxy that spams the hell out of the server to force its closure due to a denial of service overload (DDoS), or something like that, unless the owners dish out bucket loads of cash every month.
So watch out.
